My First Video!

I'm trying something new today and posting a video of myself.  I'll admit, I'm somewhat nervous about this! Can't quite get used to how I look and sound!

In this one, my husband conducts a short interview with me, giving you a closer look into who I am and what this blog is about.

Enjoy!

You are so cute! You did a great job - I would be nervous as all get out being on a video! Very brave -

Thanks so much for sharing of yourself!!

Well, nice to meet you Mary Ann! You are just as sweet as your blog leads one to believe! You are very well spoken and your husband sounds like a professional newsperson. Its so refreshing to see someone who is so content. Thanks.

I admit I was getting nervous, too... lol! ;) it's always different reading one's blog with the "idea in your head" about how they may be or sound in real life. You know??!??!?!

But...You made me feel right at home. In the spirit of true southern hospitality... I loved it.

Thanks, Monica!

I had said that when we got a camera that did video, I would be able to make videos for my blog. God recently provided a camera for us (which I will be sharing about for Frugal Friday) and Andy held me to the video thing! I wanted to wait to post it and he convinced me to go ahead!

Darcy Lee,

I have a few other ideas for videos, possibly some cooking tutorials.

Thanks!

Bevy,

Yeah, I know what you mean! And I'm glad you felt welcome, especially since I'm not a true Southern gal!

Thanks!

Mary Ann, you are adorable! I enjoyed your video. I know what you mean about it being difficult to find "like-minded" people in real life. I am a SAHM and I don't know many others. Before we had a child I stayed at home, as well. I've *always* gotten the question, "So, what do you do all day?" The answer is, as I'm sure you'll agree, we NEVER run out of things to do!

Mary Bailey,

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I've heard that question a lot in the 5 years I've been home. :-) I know that some homemakers do get bored staying at home too much, but boredom has really never been a problem for me. Feeling unmotivated-yes. Boredom? No. I have many interests and I really enjoy the homemaking process so that helps. :-)

Too adorable! What a neat idea ~ really gives your readers a better idea of who you are! I'm sure you inspired some other ladies to do the same! I would've been so nervous too!! Very creative and welcoming! Looking forward to more!

I have just watched your first video and really, really enjoy it! You both have lovely voices - and I would love to see more videos of cooking and crafts as you are very talented - and lovely in front of the camera.
Thank you so much for a wonderful, inspiring blog.
Best wishes,
