A Quick Frugal Tip

This tip won't save you big bucks but it will save you a little here and there and only takes a minute!

You know how you pour out the salt and you can still hear some salt in the bottom but it won't come out the spout anymore?

I cut my salt box open the other day and got another teaspoon out that way!

This technique works for many other food and household items too.

I've been known to cut up my lotion bottle to get every last bit! Thanks for the little tip.

Denise,

I do this with toothpaste and cut open the box of baby cereal today to get the last out that wouldn't come out of the spout! My husband will throw the shampoo and body wash bottles in the trash and I get them out and with turning them upside down and adding a little water, I'm able to get a couple more uses out of it. I do the same thing with laundry soap.

I just don't like to waste.:-)

Glad to know I'm not the only one that does this! Hope you are doing well!

This works for lotion and makeup too, if the tube is made of plastic. I hate to throw anything away. Over time it does save money to use that last little bit of a product.
