Grass Is Growing

My wheat grass is growing! I tried this a few years ago and for whatever reason, it just didn't grow. But this time it is.

I really like having something green in my house. A touch of spring!

Friends have asked why I am growing grass in pots? Just for fun. And I think it's pretty. Not planning on juicing it or anything anytime soon.:-)

How cute is that! Very simple but very sweet!
I hope you're having a great week. :)

It looks great! Morgan loves the ones you gave us. She is taking personal responsibility for Maggie's too. She said, "I can't let Maggie's die! We have to remember to water them everyday!!!"

It *is* very pretty. I love that vibrant green color. I would like to try that but I'm afraid my indoor cat would eat it all! He tends to do that with plants.

I like it! That first picture is really cute. Green grass is one of the prettiest things about spring. :)

I just caught up on reading your blog, I have been having a hard time getting into your blog....tonight I could so I "caught up". I am enjoying reading about the changes that you are making, I need to work on some of the same changes, get out the healthy cookbooks and clean out the pantry especially since the boys seem to want to cooperate with this venture as well! Hubby and I need to work on getting a little healthier, we keep telling our sons we want to be around for a LONG time and if that is the case I want to be healthy! I like your idea of one change at a time, I just need to get moving. Thanks for sharing your plans, sorry I couldn't comment sooner.

I think this is a wonderful idea. Even more so, since we have snow on the ground again! Ü
