Choosing Chicken (And Hobby Lobby)

As Christians, we appreciate businesses that share our values. Chick-fil-A and Hobby Lobby are two such businesses that were founded upon and operate by God's principles.  We love to support them with our business when the opportunities arise.

We joined hundreds of thousands of Americans today to show our support and appreciation for Chick-fil-A's public stand on Biblical values. It was a long wait to get our food but totally worth the time!

Since we were supporting a Christian business anyways, I thought "Why not support two today?" so on the way home I made a quick stop at Hobby Lobby for something on my list. :-)

Do you vote with your dollars by choosing carefully where you spend your money? Which businesses are your favorite to support?

Yay! We love both of those places too! And, enjoyed the wait because we saw so many people we knew! :)

I enjoy both of those places. Chick-fil-A has a special spot in my heart as I worked there for 6 yrs. Through high school and college. I had the privilage to meet Dan Cathy at a store grand opening in Oak Ridge, TN. I know first hand that the company is not only founded on Christian priciples, but they practice those priniples daily. A great place to have worked!

I didn't know that about Hobby Lobby sharing the same values. That's good to know. I did just read about Chick-fil-A though. I'm not even sure where our closest one is. I LOVE them though and appreciate that they are not afraid to stand up for what they believe. Had I not been in the hospital, I probably would've looked it up and made the trip. :)

Amen! and Amen!

I just got acquainted with Hobby Lobby for the first time earlier this spring while on our vacation to TN.

If only there was one in my backyard - of PA - wait, that could be dangerous. Real dangerous. Since home, I have heard that there are a couple around but both an hour or so away. Good and NOT good. ;)

Love this post.

Love and patronize both of these businesses!! Yesterday, we went to CFA twice ~ once for lunch, then for a milkshake later. =) So glad to see folks turn out in droves for support!

I've been thinking on the question you posed also this past week ~ a good one! I think I'm going to pay more attention to which companies support what causes and such..the least I could do to be good stewards of our funds!

Blessings to you~

We've been showing our support for Chick-fil-A too! I wish we had a Hobby Lobby in our area. I loved visiting the one in Asheboro during our last visit to the NC Zoo. Though, I'm quite sure if we did have one here, I'd be constantly broke LOL!

I love CFA too! We don't have one in town (maybe that's a good thing for my waist!) but go when we're out of town. I fully support a business with such strong Christian values & one that is not worried about making it known.

We do have a Hobby Lobby though & I'm in there quite a bit. I also like the fact that Hobby Lobby operates debt free.
