Last week, I added a few little red and pink touches to our home for Valentine's Day!
A red and pink rag wreath and a heart garland.
Last year's heart decorations now hang over the kitchen sink.
It's fun to wear this festive apron-- a gift from my sister last year.

Are those hearts over the kitchen window (from last year) fabric or paper? I couldn't quite tell.
I know I just said it, but I want to say it again. I LOVE that ragtime wreath! My heart's all a-flutter because I'm thinking I could make one myself!

The rag wreath is easy peasy! The link for that gives complete instructions but basically you take strips of fabric and tie them on the wreath form, trim to desired length and fluff! This is a good craft while watching TV.

ReplyDeleteYour house looks so cute and colorful! I LOVE the rag-wreath. I wish I could make something like that but I am what you might call "craft challenged"! Maybe if I enlist the help of a friend I could actually make one.
