Works For Me Wednesday: Stamps In Your Mailbox

Recently, I have started getting my postage stamps delivered to my mailbox. Call the post office or ask your postal carrier for a stamps-by-mail form. Just fill out the form, include a check for payment, put it with your outgoing mail(no stamp required) and you will receive your stamps in a couple of days. There is no shipping cost for ordering your stamps this way.

I love this since I have limited errand running time these days and it always seems that the post office is not on the way to any of my other stops. This really works for me!

I have done this for a couple of years and it is easily the most convenient way to get stamps! Love it!

I do this too, except I order them at www.usps.gov. It is so much easier than remembering to go to the post office!

What a great idea! I never knew that - or that you could order them online! I love it!

Did we both discover USPS the same week? I just blogged about them too! Thanks for sharing- I am going to have to try this. I don't want to go to the post office and our ATM charges us if we pull stamps for them. Thanks so much for sharing!

Yes, you can also order them online, but they charge you a shipping fee - this way is no extra charge! :)

I've been buying my stamps online for a while now too! The only time I have to go to the P.O. is if I need something weighed. :) Great idea!

I've never tried this before, but it sounds great to me!

Do you ever worry about your stamps getting stolen out of your mailbox? There's been a rash of mailbox theft in our city.

I found out too, that ordering online costs shipping. That's why I prefer this way.:-)

Overwhelmed-I am usually at home during the day, when mail is in my mailbox(outgoing and incoming) so I don't worry about it being stolen. Also my mailbox is on my porch instead of out by the road, so that may make a difference.

Thanks, everyone for your comments. :-)
